DRACUT, MA - Arlindo S. DeSousa, 84, died peacefully, Sunday, July 22nd, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Lourdes (Brito) DeSousa.

Arlindo was born in Madeira, Portugal, on November 3, 1933, a son of the late Maria J. dos Ramos and Joaquim V. DeSousa. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, and playing dominos . Arlindo was also extremely proud of his Portuguese heritage and was admired by many Portuguese Club members, whose lives he impacted greatly.

Arlindo is survived and will be deeply missed by his children, Maria H. DaSilva of Methuen, Janne and her husband Pedro Pereira of Dracut, Sid and his wife Christine DeSousa of South Carolina; sister, Maria Odete Sousa de Gomes of Madeira; grandchildren, Christian, Jacklyn, and Joshua DaSilva, David Pereira, Rachel and her husband Peter Mondi, Gabriella and Nathaniel DeSousa, long time companion, Zelia and her loving children.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Jaime , Alvaro, and Humberto DeSousa.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on WEDNESDAY, July 25th, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, MA. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on THURSDAY, July 26th at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Pelham, NH.
