DRACUT, MA – Cecile B. Goddu, 82, died peacefully, Tuesday, April 3 rd, at the Palm Center in Chelmsford, MA, surrounded by her children. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward L. Goddu. She was a resident at Summer Place in Chelmsford, MA.

Cecile was born in Lowell, MA on January 28th, 1936 a daughter of the late Marie Jeanne (Lessard) and Arthur E. Gregoire of Quebec, Canada. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School.

Cecile worked in several different fields, the last before retiring as an account payable clerk at Demoulas/Market Basket for 10 years.

She is survived and will be deeply missed by her son Daniel Goddu and his wife Joan of Deering, New Hampshire; her daughter, Darlene Hunsinger of California; her daughter Dianna Dwinell and her husband Brian of Tewksbury, MA; six grandchildren: Sara Beauregard, Rachel Gregoire, Matthew Goddu, Megan Dwinell, Erin Dwinell, Lucas Hunsinger; and two great grandchildren, Zoe Beauregard and Ryker Gregoire.

She was predeceased by her brother Marcel Gregoire and her son-in-law Michael Hunsinger.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on SUNDAY, April 8 th, from 2-5 p.m. in the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, MA, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated, MONDAY, April 9 th, at 10 a.m. in St. Kathryn's Church in Hudson, NH. Burial in St Joseph’s Cemetery in Chelmsford, MA.
