DRACUT, MA - Richard Turner, 71, died peacefully, Monday, April 2nd , at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Manning) Turner.
Richard was born in Lowell, on October, 16th, 1946, a son of the late Doris (Grady) and Ralph Turner. Growing up, he lived in several states, as his father was in the Navy. He also served in the Navy after high school graduation in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Richard worked in the health care field all of his life, his last employment being at Winchester Hospital as a phlebotomist.
He will be remembered for his love of music, sense of humor, his loving ways, and his kindness to everyone.
Richard is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife Helen; his sister JoAnne, and brother-in-law, Warren VanGemert, and his brother David; his nieces, Nikki and Melanie; and his nephew, Adam.
He was predeceased by his sister Marsha Turner.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to his prayer service on MONDAY, April 9th, at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph's Cemetery Chapel in Chelmsford, MA.
