George K.  Tsouprakos
LITCHFIELD, NH., formerly of Lowell, George Tsouprakos, 84, passed away, Monday, February 19th at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH., surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Theoni (Filopoulos) Tsouprakos, with whom he shared 59 1/2 wonderful years of marriage.

George was born in Sidirokastro, Laconia, Greece on August 22, 1933, the son of the late Potista ( Karakitsou) and Kyriakos X. Tsouprakos.

George served in the Royal Guard of Greece. Upon coming to America in 1963, he opened his own barber shop in Lowell, Ma. He also worked for Raytheon for 23 years prior to his retirement.

Besides his wife, Theoni, George is survived and will be deeply missed by his three sons: Kyriakoulis and his wife Frieda of Windham, NH., Xenophon and his wife Helene of West Islip, NY., and Arthur and his wife Melissa of Hudson, NH., 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, his Sister, Irene Demas and her husband Tom of Scottsdale, AZ and many nieces and nephews.

George was Pre-Deceased by his brothers Dimitrios and Stylianos Tsouprakos.


ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to his Funeral Service on Thursday, February 22nd in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis St., Lowell, Ma., at 10AM followed by his burial in Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell.
