DRACUT- Janice M. (Garboski), Berry 68, died on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 after a brief illness.

Janice was born in Lowell on November 11, 1949, daughter of the late Rose (Collette) and John Garboski. She was a longtime resident of Dracut. She worked at the Lowell Sun for 28 years in human resources up until her retirement several years ago.

Janice loved to paint beautiful pictures, enjoyed gardening, antique collecting, crafting, photography, and was a nature lover. She was a devoted Jehovah's Witness. Janice also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son Shawn Berry and survived by her 3 daughters, Lisa Berry of Nashua, NH, April Berry of Lowell, MA, and Annmarie Watkins of Barnstead, NH; her brother Dennis Garboski and his wife Eleanor of Bedford, NH; her sisters, Patricia and her husband Roland Lacourse of Dracut, MA; Sharon Verdi of Lowell, MA; and Lynne Garboski of Los Angeles, CA; her 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Besides her son Shawn, Janice was predeceased by her brother John Garboski and her twin sister Janet Gawlik.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, January 24th, from 3-5PM at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, Ma.
