DRACUT-George X. Bernier of Dracut died peacefully at his home Sunday September 30, 2018. He was the husband of the late Muriel G. (Bell) Bernier who died July 8, 2012.



Born in Lynn, March 19, 1944, the son of the late Francis X. Bernier and the late M. Lucille (Bastarache) Bernier.



Prior to his retirement he was a plastics engineer for Haartz Corp. in Acton, MA.



Mr. Bernier enjoyed watching TV and movies. He also enjoyed going to the Cameo Diner on a daily basis to visit with friends. He loved spending time with his grandson, Drew. Most of all, he loved fishing with his son, George.



George is survived by a son George X. Bernier IV and his wife Karen A. Bernier of Dracut, his grandson, Drew Bernier of Dracut, two sisters, Celeste A. McCusker of Haverhill and Louise M. Klangos of Wooster, Ohio, close friends, Ron and Jeanne Zimmerman of Dracut, and many nieces and nephews.



ARRANGEMENTS- Friends may call at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT on Thursday 3 to 7 pm. His Funeral Service will also be held Thursday at 7 PM. Burial Friday at 12 Noon in Oakland Cemetery, Dracut.
