Obituary for Carole Tsitsianopoulos (Tsouprakakis)

Print
Carole (Kiki) (Tsouprakakis) Tsitsianopoulos, born September 2, 1940 died peacefully on September 11, 2018 surrounded by her family. Carole was born in Lawrence, Mass and was the daughter of the late Charles and Estelle (Panagiotakos) Tsouprakakis.

Carole was married to Michael (Markos) Tsitsianopoulos with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage on April 25, 2018.

Carole lived most of her life in Dracut and was educated in the Dracut school system. Carole was a member of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Dracut. Carole was retired from the Lowell Housing Authority after more than 30 years of service. Carole was a hard worker, generous and devoted to her family. She loved books and was a prolific reader. She wrote and enjoyed music. Carole loved the theater and travelling to new places. She especially loved the ocean and vacations she spent in Maine with her beloved husband Michael. Carole loved to cook and entertain family and friends. In answer to so many requests for her recipes Carole diligently worked on recording all her recipes on the computer and made copies available for everyone to enjoy. In addition, Carole loved gardening and anything floral. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She so loved Christmas that one antique glass curio cabinet in her living room was devoted to the magic of Christmas displays all year long.

Carole leaves behind four loving children: James Tsitsianopoulos of Dracut, Dorianne Alexandropoulos of Dracut, Estelle Mutchler and her husband Joel of Texas, and Dianne Maddox and her husband Jason of Connecticut. She also very sadly leaves five beautiful grandchildren: Nicholas Alexandropoulos, Gregory Alexandropoulos, Jessica Tsitsianopoulos, Kristine Mutchler, and Jason Torijian; and two great-grandchildren Ridley Jean Nichols and Jonas Arthur Nichols.

She also leaves behind her dear brothers James Tsouprakakis and his wife Gloria, and Paul Tsouprakakis and his wife Deborah all of Dracut.

Carole has promised to try and answer the age old question “Is there life after death?” If she finds there is life after death she has promised to try to communicate it or show a sign to her children and grandchildren every year on the date of her birth.
