DRACUT, MA - Libby (Kazanjian) Kayajanian, 99, died peacefully, Thursday, August 2nd, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Nishan (Nelson) Kayajanian, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.

Libby was born in Lowell on July 30, 1919, a daughter of the late Miriam (Dulgarian) and Murgadich Kazanjian. She was a graduate of Lowell High School class of 1938.

Upon graduation, Libby worked as a seamstress at Hub Hosiery in Lowell.

In her free time, Libby enjoyed cooking, baking, and entertaining family and friends. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and being the Pilaf Queen of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Church. Libby was also a dedicated member of Sts. Vartanantz where she was a Women's Guild member for over 70 years. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family were her most precious treasures. Recently, on July 30th she celebrated her 99th birthday with her family and friends.

Libby is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Mary Gail and her husband Boghos Giragosian of Arlington, Joyce and her late husband Denis Hebert, Brenda and her husband Stephen Moran, and Bruce and his wife Patricia (Kling) Kayajanian all of Dracut; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Araxie Najarian, John Kazanjian, Artemis Boyajian, and Dororthy Parigian.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on TUESDAY, August 7th from 5 - 8 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, MA. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. with her funeral service to follow in Sts. Vartanantz Church in Chelmsford on WEDNESDAY, August 8th at 10 a.m. Burial in Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell. In Lieu of Flower donations can be made to Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Church.
