DRACUT- Roland J. Plouffe, formerly of Lowell, died peacefully, Wednesday, August 1st at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Rita I. (Grondine) Plouffe, who passed away in May of 2004.

Roland was born in Lowell, on December 25, 1941 a son of the late Mary Plouffe.

He was employed by Haartz Manufacturing Co. for over 30 years prior to his retirement. Prior to his illness, Roland enjoyed playing Bingo at St.Theresa's Church in Dracut and listening to his music.

His physical condition required a caretaker and the Hammond Family took him in. Deb and Mark, their children and grandchildren gave Roland happiness and a sense of well being.

Roland is survived by his Brother Steve Plouffe of Manchester, NH, several Nieces and Nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to his graveside service on Monday, August 6th, at 1PM in Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell.
