Obituary for William M. Gresho

LOWELL- William M. Gresho, 76, passed away, Saturday, March 10th, at Fairhaven Healthcare of Lowell.

He was born in Bethlehem, PA., March 10, 1942, a son of the late Milton and Elizabeth (Buehler) Gresho. William was educated in Pennsylvania, attending and graduating from Bethlehem Catholic High School and Lehigh University where he obtained his B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He furthered his education by obtaining his Masters Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His areas of work expertise were noise reduction and color. These degrees made him a prime candidate for the automotive industry. General Motors put his specialty to good use for many years before he transitioned into substitute teaching in Lowell, MA until his retirement.

William was a voracious reader, his topics of choice being science, mathematics and Taoism. He especially loved to discuss and read about Quantum Mechanics.

William is survived and will be deeply missed by his children: Anne Lytle and her husband Jesse Lytle of Narbeth, PA, and Andy Gresho and his wife Chris of Avon, IN. He also leaves his sister: Mary Collins of Bethlehem, PA., his three grandchildren: Mary Jane and Alexander Lytle and BreeAnna Sawyer, his nephews: Christopher and Matthew Collins, and his companion for the last 12 years, Joan Van Horn and her children: Matthew, Amanda and Elizabeth.
