DRACUT- Claire L (Bruneau) Sosnowy, 101, passed away peacefully Friday, February 9th, at Lowell General Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Sosnowy, who passed away in 1991.

She was born in Lowell on May 27, 1916 the daughter of the late Anna (Landry) and Charles Bruneau.

Claire and her husband were ahead of their time, and had an organic farm long before it became popular. She also loved her sports and was an avid New England fan.

Claire is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughter Rita LaBrie of Dracut, her 2 Grandchildren Michael LaBrie and his wife Jane of Lowell and Gail Nawn and her husband Theodore of Dracut, 4 Great-Grandchildren Melissa Nawn of Ayer, MA, Michael LaBrie and his wife Jessica of Lowell, Ashley Nawn of Dracut, and Kristen LaBrie of Falmouth. She also leaves a loving Godchild, Lillian Dalpe and her husband Lucien of Dracut, many nieces and nephews, along with a close friend Cecile Hinxman.
