Obituary for Peter W. Enis

DRACUT-Peter W. Enis 80, of Dracut husband of Judith E. (Harrica) Enis passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in Lowell General Hospital.



Born in Lowell, May 30, 1937, a son of the late Peter J. and the late Anna (Melanson) Enis.



Prior to his retirement he was employed by Reis Associates in Lowell until General Electric acquired them. Then when Ametek of Wilmington acquired parts of GE, he was then employed by Ametek until his retirement. After his retirement he became known as “The neighborhood handyman”. In his free time Peter enjoyed fishing, hunting and vacationing at the beach in Maine, but most of all he was a family man. Spending time with his family was most important to him.



In addition to his wife of 58 years, he is survived by four children, Peter W. and his wife Elaine (Lafortune) Enis of Pelham, NH, James A. and his wife Deanna (Silva) Enis of Kennebunk, ME, Karen A. Enis of Dracut and Kathleen A. and her husband Steven Francis of Bedford, NH, His siblings, Paul J. and his wife Judith A. (Duffy) Enis of Dracut, Ronald and his wife Mary (Ahearn) Enis of Merrimack, NH, John and his wife Phon Enis of Lowell, Ann Roberts of Dracut, Nancy and her husband Richard Loiselle of Gilford, NH and Diane and her husband David Loiselle of Vermont, ten grandchildren, Cody W. Enis, Katrina L. Enis, Robert A. Smith, Kira L. Smith, Randy A. Smith, Kaylee A. Smith, Christopher G. Francis, Nicole K. Francis, Evan J. Enis and Emma K. Enis and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of Karlene A. Enis who passed away in 1990.



ARRANGEMENTS-Friends are invited to his committal prayers on Monday, January 29, at 2 pm in St. Patrick Chapel 1251 Gorham St. Lowell, MA.
